Territorial Fair
Territorial Heritage Heritage Fair
Two winning projects from each school proceed to the Territorial Heritage Fair.
Judges from across Nunavut will visit the Territorial Heritage Fair website in mid April to view the projects.
All materials for projects must be recieved by April 1, 2010 in order to be entered in the Territorial Heritage Fair.
Steps to Submitting an Entry to the Territorial Fair
1. Take digital pictures of the project
- a. One picture of the entire project board.
- b. One picture of the student/students whose project it is.
- c. Individual pictures of each graphic or visual used in the project.
- d. If the project consists of a performance, take pictures of the performance.
- e. Save all pictures/images in jpeg format.
2. Type Text
- a. Type all text on the project board.
- b. Type a captipn for each photograph that you are sending.
- c. If the project contains an audio cassette, transcribe it.
- d. If the project consists of a video cassette, have the students write a description or include a script.
- e. Save the text as a .txt file. You can do this from any word processing program by going to the "Save As" command and choosing .txt.
- f. Syllabics must be typed in the Nunacom font.
